Yes. Blue Prince launched on the Mac App Store on December 15, 2025. Apple’s U.S. listing remains active, showing a $29.99 price, Mac-only compatibility, and a minimum requirement of macOS 11.0. The official Blue Prince account announced the date in advance, and launch-day coverage confirmed that the game was available that day.

The release date was announced by the official Blue Prince account. A contemporaneous launch report said the game was already available on December 15.

What kind of game is Blue Prince?
Blue Prince blends mystery, strategy, room-drafting and resource management. You explore Mt. Holly, a manor whose floor plan changes as you decide which rooms appear behind its doors. The layout resets each day, while selected progress and upgrades can persist. The spoiler-light objective is to investigate the estate and search for the rumored Room 46 while piecing together its history.

Mac compatibility and storage
Apple’s listing requires macOS 11.0 or later. Macs running an older version of macOS are outside the stated compatibility range. The U.S. page lists the application at 8.6 GB; leave additional free space for installation overhead, updates and saved data. Apple’s regional pages can show different prices or size metadata, so check your own storefront before buying.
The listing confirms operating-system compatibility but does not provide reliable chip-specific performance, frame-rate, RAM or GPU guidance. Do not assume performance on every Intel or Apple-silicon Mac without checking your model and current system. The U.S. listing also shows English as the available language.

What the Mac App Store edition includes
The listing advertises Game Center, achievements and Family Sharing for up to six family members. Those features may make Apple’s storefront appealing if you keep your games and billing in your Apple account.
Family Sharing is not the same as cross-platform ownership. Nothing in the available listing confirms that a Mac App Store purchase transfers to Steam, that saves synchronize between storefronts, or that achievements carry between Game Center and Steam. Apple also says the developer reports collecting no data, while noting that the developer’s privacy responses have not been verified by Apple.

The Mac App Store page is the authoritative place to check Apple’s current price and requirements. If you also use Windows or Linux, already own the game elsewhere, or are waiting for a discount, compare the official Steam listing and its current policies. A Steam purchase should not be presumed to unlock the Mac App Store edition.

- Choose it if you want Apple’s billing and download system, Game Center achievements or Family Sharing.
- Compare other storefronts first if you need Windows or Linux access, want a sale, or already own the game on PC.
- Before paying, confirm your Mac runs macOS 11.0 or later, has enough free storage, and meets your language requirements.
In short, the December 15, 2025 claim is genuine: Blue Prince is a paid Mac App Store release, not an upcoming date or an Apple Arcade listing. The current U.S. snapshot is $29.99, but regional pricing, metadata and storefront policies can change.
