There is no single best homeopathy software for every user. RadarOpus is the strongest fit for practitioners seeking extensive repertory and materia medica coverage; Complete Dynamics offers a lower-cost route to the Complete Repertory and a free reading edition; and Hompath/Zomeo emphasizes a large reference library and edition-based buying options. Browser-first tools such as Similia may suit users interested in AI-assisted search, but its current pricing and privacy terms should be confirmed directly.

The prices below are snapshots observed on August 16, 2026. Prices and trial terms can change by country, currency, tax, edition, device, or promotion. This is a feature and pricing comparison, not a hands-on test or a claim that any software establishes the efficacy or appropriateness of a treatment.

Homeopathy software can mean very different things: a digital repertory, a searchable materia medica library, repertorization tools, patient and consultation records, invoicing, mobile access, or AI-assisted search. A product that is excellent for reference may not be a complete practice-management system.

Best homeopathy software by use case

  • For maximum reference breadth: RadarOpus. Its vendor advertises more than 80 repertories and more than 1,600 materia-medica documents, as well as patient files and practice features. Treat library totals as vendor-reported counts, not independently audited comparisons. See RadarOpus features.
  • For Complete Repertory access and a lower-cost starting point: Complete Dynamics. Its Browser edition is a free way to read the Complete Repertory; paid editions are the relevant options for a fuller practitioner workflow. See the official price list.
  • For a large library and edition-based purchase choices: Hompath/Zomeo. Its Elite and Academic pages list different contents and terms, so compare the exact edition rather than relying on one headline library count. See Zomeo Elite and Zomeo Academic.
  • For browser-first, AI-oriented exploration: Similia, with verification. Current secondary comparison coverage reports a free tier, browser/PWA access, semantic search, and AI case-analysis tools. Those claims and reported prices were not confirmed from an official pricing source here; confirm details and privacy terms before entering patient information. Read the comparison coverage.
  • For veterinary work: choose by veterinary edition, not general library size. Complete Dynamics lists veterinary editions separately. Confirm which animal-focused repertories and workflow features a package actually contains before buying.
  • For a classical Mac-oriented workflow: investigate MacRepertory/Synergy. Current pricing and platform details were not verified in the available sources, so ask the vendor for current compatibility and license terms.

Product details

RadarOpus: strongest candidate for depth

RadarOpus combines repertorization and reference material with advertised case-management tools. The vendor says it supports Mac and Windows, offers modular packages, and includes patient files, prescription and posology records, attachments, patient-file searching, invoicing, email functions, and a “congress mode” for hiding patient names during case presentations. These are vendor-advertised capabilities, not independently tested results. Its mobile OpusGo app is a separate purchase. Review the feature claims.

The US packages page lists a Student Practitioner package at $499.99 and an All-Inclusive Practitioner package at $9,999.99. The international site advertises rentals from €6 per month, depending on package and rental duration. These are different markets and commercial paths; do not compare them as equivalent editions. The vendor also advertises payment plans and a 15-day full-access demo. Check US packages and review demo and rental information.

Best for: experienced users who value a large reference library, Synthesis, and integrated practice tools. Consider another option if: you are new to repertorization, need a simple low-cost tool, or cannot justify the professional-tier cost. Ask for a written list of included repertories, add-ons, update terms, permitted computers, offline behavior, and export options before choosing a package.

Complete Dynamics: clearest price ladder and free reading entry

Complete Dynamics is centered on the Complete Repertory. Its free Browser edition offers access to read the repertory, which can be useful for study or evaluation, but should not be described as a free substitute for full professional repertorization and case management. Current comparison coverage reports Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android support; confirm the exact edition and device terms with the vendor.

The official price list gives these subscription prices:

Edition 1 month 1 year 3 years 5 years 10 years
Master €29 €285 €641 €855 €1,425
Practitioner €19 €190 €428 €570 €950
Amateur — €48 — — —

The same page lists annual specialist options: Master with Saine Repertory at €246, Practitioner with Saine Repertory at €164, Veterinary Master at €222, and Veterinary at €148. The page calls these subscriptions; multi-year access should not be assumed to mean perpetual ownership or perpetual updates. Check the official price list and terms.

Best for: students and practitioners who specifically want the Complete Repertory and prefer a comparatively transparent price menu. Consider another option if: you need a much broader multi-repertory library or want a free system for managing a practice. Confirm what each edition includes, how renewals work, and what happens to access when the subscription ends.

Hompath/Zomeo: broad library and distinct edition models

Hompath positions Zomeo as a repertory, materia medica, case-management, and practice tool. Its trial page advertises Mac and Windows downloads, unlimited patients and consultations, case creation, rubric recording and analysis, and materia medica reference. It currently advertises a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. However, Hompath’s FAQ says a Zomeo demo can run for 90 days. Because the vendor’s own pages conflict, confirm the current trial length directly before relying on it. See the trial page and the FAQ.

The Zomeo Elite page advertises US$300 for one year, with 12 repertories, 805 volumes of homeopathic books, 3,500 materia-medica remedies, and 21 webinars totaling 50 hours. The Academic page advertises US$249 with lifetime validity, 11 repertories, 150 reference books, 3,250 remedies, and academic features. These are edition-specific vendor claims: do not combine them into a single library total or assume the Academic license suits a professional practice. See Elite details and Academic details.

The US App Store listing shows $699.99 for the iPhone/iPad app. That mobile listing is not a reliable proxy for the desktop license price, and app pricing can differ by country. Confirm whether the mobile app shares an account or data with desktop versions and whether synchronization is included. View the US App Store listing.

Best for: users who want substantial reference content alongside case features and are comfortable selecting among multiple editions. Consider another option if: you need a simple, unambiguous price comparison. Before buying, ask about update rights, cloud access, device limits, support, exports, and which exact repertories and books are included in your edition.

Similia: promising browser-first option, but verify the details

Secondary 2026 comparison coverage describes Similia as browser/PWA software with a free tier, semantic search, and AI-assisted features such as Notes to Rubrics, Photos to Rubrics, Live Audio Mode, and Miasm Analysis. It reports Pro pricing of approximately €16.99–€24.99 per month depending on edition, and refers to current repertory editions. These details are secondary-source reports, not verified official pricing or independently validated product claims. See the coverage.

Before using an AI-enabled tool with patient material, find out whether notes, images, or audio are sent to third-party services; whether data is used for model training; how to disable processing; how long data is retained; and whether deletion and export are available. Treat AI suggestions as search or documentation aids that need source checking, not as validated diagnosis or prescribing authority.

MacRepertory/Synergy: confirm current status before shortlisting

Secondary comparison coverage identifies MacRepertory/Synergy as a classical Mac-oriented alternative, but current pricing, compatibility, and feature details were not verified from a primary source. Ask the vendor about current operating-system support, repertory contents, migration, and update policy before comparing it with the products above.

How to compare the real cost

A headline price is only one part of the purchase. Compare the exact edition and total cost over the period you expect to use it.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Rental or subscription: usually reduces the initial outlay and may bundle access or updates, but access may end when payments stop. Add up the full term and check renewal, cancellation, offline use, and what happens to cases after expiry.
  • Long-term subscription: can lower the effective annual price, but it is not automatically a perpetual license. Complete Dynamics labels its multi-year offers subscriptions; verify whether access continues after the term and whether updates are included.
  • Lifetime or edition-based purchase: can be attractive if the license terms match your needs, but “lifetime validity” does not by itself answer whether future updates, cloud features, support, or transfers are included. Zomeo Academic’s page uses this wording; get the scope in writing.
  • Modular packages: let a buyer pay for selected content, but make comparisons harder. Ask whether required repertories, mobile access, extra computers, updates, support, and data migration cost extra.

Regional prices are not interchangeable: currency, tax, academic status, promotion, reseller, and App Store rules can change the final amount. The Zomeo iOS price, for example, is for the US mobile listing, not necessarily the desktop product.

What to check before entering patient data

Case software can hold sensitive information. A vendor’s privacy or compliance language is not a blanket legal guarantee for a practitioner’s entire operation. RadarOpus advertises HIPAA/GDPR-related privacy implementation, but compliance depends on the product’s actual configuration and the practitioner’s responsibilities, including access controls, device security, backups, staff access, retention, patient consent, and applicable agreements or local laws.

Ask every vendor:

  • Where is patient data stored, and is it encrypted in transit and at rest?
  • Can you control staff access, use multi-factor authentication, and review access history?
  • Can you export all notes, repertorization sheets, and attachments in readable formats?
  • Can you permanently delete data, including cloud backups, and how long does deletion take?
  • Can the software work offline? What happens to access during an outage or after cancellation?
  • Can you restore a backup, move a license to another computer, and migrate from another product?
  • For AI features, what information leaves the app, who processes it, and is it used to train models?

A practical demo checklist

Use a fictional patient and test the work you actually do, rather than relying on a sales tour. Do not enter real patient data until you understand the privacy and trial terms.

  1. Create a dummy patient and record a consultation.
  2. Search for an uncommon rubric you know how to locate in your existing references.
  3. Build a repertorization and inspect how remedies, grades, and sources are displayed.
  4. Compare several remedies, then open the supporting materia medica passages.
  5. Check whether rubric sources are cited and whether you can add or edit rubrics.
  6. Save a follow-up, record remedy history and posology, and attach a sample file if relevant.
  7. Search across the patient file and test any invoicing or email tools you expect to use.
  8. Export the case and attachments; check whether the files remain readable without the software.
  9. Run a backup and restore test, and check offline behavior if that matters to your practice.
  10. Ask what happens to your records and exports when the trial expires, a subscription ends, or you change computers.

How to choose

  • Want free access to a repertory for reading? Start with Complete Dynamics Browser, understanding that it is not the same as a full clinical workflow. Similia’s free tier is reported by secondary coverage and should be confirmed with the vendor.
  • Need the broadest advertised reference library and practice tools? Test RadarOpus, then compare the exact package and add-on cost against your actual needs.
  • Want Complete Repertory access with a transparent subscription menu? Compare Complete Dynamics Practitioner and Master, plus any specialist edition you need.
  • Want a large library with edition-based buying options? Compare the specific Zomeo edition, its contents, and its access period; resolve the trial-length discrepancy first.
  • Need mobile or browser access? Check that the exact feature set and case data sync across devices. Do not assume a mobile app is included in a desktop license.
  • Need veterinary coverage? Confirm the veterinary repertories and edition capabilities directly rather than inferring support from a general product description.

Software organizes reference material and records; its features do not establish that homeopathic treatment is effective or medically appropriate. Choose software for the workflow and information-management tasks you need, and evaluate health decisions on their own merits.
