Arsenal’s 2025 pre-season is complete. The men’s first team played five friendlies in Singapore, Hong Kong and London between July 23 and August 9, 2025. Arsenal’s official viewing route was a paid pre-season pass on Arsenal.com and the official Arsenal app, while ticketing depended on whether the match was overseas or at Emirates Stadium.
This is an archived guide: the 2025 ticket windows and streaming pass have ended. Arsenal’s visit to Manchester United on August 17, 2025 was not a friendly; it was the opening Premier League match of the 2025/26 season.

Kick-off times: the retained fixture evidence confirms the dates and venues but does not provide a reliable complete record of the UK and local kick-off times for every match. Because pre-season times can change and this is now historical, use the relevant archived Arsenal, host-club or event page rather than relying on an old listing.

Important: Manchester United v Arsenal on August 17, 2025 was Arsenal’s opening Premier League fixture of 2025/26, not part of pre-season. The distinction is confirmed in the Premier League fixture handbook.
Where Arsenal played
Singapore: AC Milan and Newcastle United
Arsenal began the tour at Singapore National Stadium, facing AC Milan on July 23 and Newcastle United on July 27. Both matches formed part of the Singapore Festival of Football rather than Arsenal’s normal home-ticketing programme. The event format meant that venue and promoter allocations could differ from a standard Emirates Stadium match.
Newcastle’s contemporary match-watching announcement also described separate Mags+ viewing arrangements, including individual-match and wider pre-season options. Those arrangements were separate from Arsenal’s own pass.
Hong Kong: the overseas North London derby
Tottenham Hotspur hosted Arsenal at Kai Tak Sports Park on July 31. Tottenham described it as the first North London derby played outside the United Kingdom. The match was therefore an overseas event fixture, not a normal Arsenal home game.
Spurs separately promoted coverage through SPURSPLAY and published additional viewing information for the match. That did not mean SPURSPLAY was universally available or necessarily the best option for Arsenal supporters; Arsenal’s five-match pass was the more complete single-source arrangement.
London: Villarreal and Athletic Club
The final two friendlies returned to Emirates Stadium. Arsenal played Villarreal on August 6 and Athletic Club on August 9, with the latter scheduled as the Emirates Cup fixture. Arsenal’s official programme listing records the Villarreal and Athletic Club matches.
How Arsenal supporters could watch the matches
Arsenal’s official pre-season pass
Arsenal advertised a paid pre-season pass that provided access to all five friendlies through Arsenal.com and the official Arsenal app. The arrangement was reported in the Premier League’s streaming announcement.
The pass was separate from a normal Premier League subscription and was not automatically equivalent to a domestic television package. Availability could vary by territory, and the historical evidence does not establish a dependable universal price. Do not rely on figures repeated by user reports or third-party listings.

The pass was the most straightforward option for supporters who wanted every match from one official source. For someone interested in only one fixture, an individual match option from the official match page or host club might have been cheaper if offered, but Arsenal’s archived sales conditions should be checked before making that assumption.
UK, US and other territories
There is no reliable basis for claiming that all five matches were shown on one UK or US broadcaster. Pre-season rights are handled differently from Premier League rights, and listings on television-guide or streaming-search websites are not proof of official availability.
US viewers should have checked the Arsenal match page and local rights information before purchasing. The defensible official route was Arsenal’s own pass through Arsenal.com and the app, subject to any territorial restrictions. Do not assume that Paramount+, ESPN+, Peacock, NBC, USA Network or another service carried every match.

Possible causes included territory restrictions, local broadcast rights, account or payment problems, and a stream opening close to kick-off. Unofficial streams were neither a dependable nor legitimate alternative.

Singapore and Hong Kong
The Singapore and Hong Kong matches were overseas event fixtures. Supporters needed to use the official event organiser, venue or host-club sales channel that applied during the 2025 sales window. Arsenal membership did not automatically guarantee access to every overseas ticket allocation.
For Singapore, the relevant route was the Singapore Festival of Football’s official event ticketing. For Hong Kong, it was the official Kai Tak Sports Park or event-organiser route. Historical sales links may no longer be active, so current Arsenal ticket pages should not be presented as proof that those matches remain on sale.
Before buying an overseas event ticket, supporters needed to check whether it covered an Arsenal section, a neutral section or general event seating; whether the ticket was mobile-only; the stadium’s entry rules; and whether transfer or resale was permitted.

For the Villarreal and Athletic Club matches, Arsenal’s home-ticketing system was the official route. The club’s ticketing guidance describes this process:
- Open Arsenal’s official men’s ticket hub and log in.
- Select Tickets & Ballots & Pre Season Match.
- Choose Find Ticket.
- Select seats on the Emirates Stadium map and choose the relevant price class.
- Add the tickets to the basket.
- Assign each ticket to the correct supporter.
- Download or access the digital ticket through the Arsenal app or Ticket Hub.
This is Arsenal’s standard guidance and should be treated as the club’s digital-ticketing process rather than proof that every 2025 ticket followed precisely the same delivery workflow. The 2025 availability and prices have ended, and no complete verified historical price list is available here.
If general admission was sold out
Legitimate alternatives included:
- Arsenal Ticket Exchange: the club’s authorised platform for eligible members to buy and sell home tickets.
- Official Ticket Transfer: where the ticket and supporter accounts were eligible.
- Official hospitality: a premium option with seating and hospitality benefits, but substantially more expensive than general admission. Current hospitality prices must not be labelled as 2025 pre-season prices; see Arsenal’s official hospitality page for current information.
- Additional official releases: availability could appear through Arsenal’s own ticketing channels.
Arsenal warns supporters about unauthorised listings, speculative tickets and scams. A ticket appearing on a resale website did not prove that it was valid or officially available. Use Arsenal’s authorised ticketing guidance and avoid unofficial resale marketplaces.
Digital-ticket checks for Emirates Stadium
For a home match, supporters should have logged in before matchday, checked that the ticket was assigned to the right person, and added it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet where supported. The club’s stadium-access guidance explains the current digital approach.
Dynamic tickets should not be treated like ordinary image files: do not rely on a screenshot unless Arsenal explicitly says screenshots are accepted. Allow time for app, phone and connectivity problems, and use the official transfer process if another person was attending. Buying a ticket assigned to somebody else without an authorised transfer created a significant risk of being refused entry.
What changed because this was pre-season?
Pre-season schedules were more prone to changes caused by broadcast requirements, travel and operational considerations. Anyone travelling should have checked the final time and venue on Arsenal.com or the relevant host-club page before departure.
A normal TV listing, a social-media post or a search result was not enough to establish ticket validity or streaming rights. The official club, venue, event organiser, competition organiser or recognised broadcaster was the appropriate authority.
