The Antec Constellation C5 ARGB is a showcase-focused ATX mid-tower with flat panoramic tempered glass, a dual-chamber layout, support for back-connect motherboards, and seven factory-installed ARGB PWM fans. It supports graphics cards up to 410 mm, CPU coolers up to 160 mm, and power supplies up to 240 mm including cable clearance. Antec also lists support for top and bottom 360 mm radiators plus a side 280 mm radiator, although actual fit depends on radiator thickness and surrounding components.
The case entered regional markets in April 2024, rather than launching as a new 2026 model. Antec continues to list it, while AntecPlay showed both black and white versions at $110 but sold out when checked on August 18, 2026. The C5 ARGB is built around a pillarless-looking 270-degree panoramic presentation. That describes the viewing arrangement and corner treatment; it should not be interpreted as proof that the case uses one continuous wraparound glass panel. Antec specifies 4 mm tempered-glass panels and a tool-free front-panel design with an ARGB lighting strip.

Its dual-chamber layout separates the visible component area from the power supply, drive and cable-management area. The PSU is mounted in the right chamber, which leaves the main chamber cleaner for a graphics card, motherboard and lighting. Antec lists approximately 95 mm of cable-management space in that chamber.
This arrangement is useful for showcase builds, but it is less familiar than a conventional front-to-back chassis. Cable routing, PSU installation and access to rear-mounted connections require planning, particularly when the glass side exposes every visible cable and connector.
Cooling layout and included ARGB fans
The factory fan arrangement is designed around bottom-to-top airflow:

- Three side/right reverse-blade 120 mm fans provide additional intake.
- The rear conventional 120 mm fan serves as an exhaust position.
- The top position is available for additional exhaust fans or a radiator.
Reverse-blade fans are used so the attractive visible side can face into the main chamber while the fans still operate as intakes. The case includes a built-in fan controller, and Antec lists magnetic dust filters on the top and bottom.
Antec provides positions for up to ten 120 mm fans. That is a capacity figure and design intent, not independent evidence that the C5 runs cooler or quieter than competing cases. Seven fans may also produce more noise than a smaller, slower fan setup unless their speeds are configured appropriately.

Antec specifically promotes simultaneous support for a top 360 mm radiator, a bottom 360 mm radiator and a side 280 mm radiator. This is a compatibility claim, not a guarantee that every radiator model and thickness will install without interference.

Before buying, check the complete radiator-plus-fan stack thickness and compare it with the motherboard heatsinks, graphics card, memory, cable routes and tubing path. A bottom radiator or thick bottom fan assembly can also affect the practical space available for a long or thick GPU. Multiple radiators add cooling capacity but also increase cost, pump and fan noise, tubing complexity and maintenance.

Graphics cards
The 410 mm GPU limit is generous on paper and should accommodate many high-end graphics cards, including the RTX 40 Series models Antec references in its marketing. Check the exact card length and thickness rather than relying only on the series name.
Also account for the bend radius of the GPU power cable or adapter. Bottom radiators, thick bottom fans, side-mounted cooling hardware and custom cable routing can reduce the practical clearance. The dossier does not establish native vertical GPU-mount support, so buyers should not assume that feature is included.
CPU coolers
The 160 mm CPU-cooler limit is more restrictive than the GPU limit. It suits many compact tower coolers and liquid coolers, but it excludes some large dual-tower air coolers. Compare the manufacturer’s complete cooler height with 160 mm, including any fan clips or other protruding parts.
Power supplies
Antec lists PSU clearance of up to 240 mm including cables. This is not simply a 240 mm limit for the PSU body. A long modular unit, stiff connectors or bulky cable plugs can consume the available working space. Check PSU length, connector orientation, cable bend radius and nearby drive or fan hardware before selecting a large unit.
Back-connect motherboards
The C5 ARGB is designed to support back-connect or rear-connector motherboard layouts, allowing some power, storage and front-panel connections to be routed from behind the motherboard tray. That can improve the clean appearance of the visible chamber.

Compatibility is motherboard-specific. A board having rear-facing connectors does not automatically guarantee a fit; verify its mounting holes, connector locations and the case’s cutouts against Antec’s compatibility documentation.
Storage and front-panel connectivity
The official specification lists one 3.5-inch drive position and two 2.5-inch positions. Antec also indicates that additional 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch mounting space can be created by removing or repositioning certain bottom or side fans. That is a real trade-off: expanding storage can reduce intake capacity or change the intended airflow layout.
Front I/O includes:

- LED-control button according to Antec’s primary specification page
- Two USB 3.0 ports
- One USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port
- Microphone input
- HD-audio output
There is a documentation discrepancy. The AntecPlay listing separately describes a reset control, while Antec’s main C5 specification page identifies an LED-control button. Buyers who need a reset switch should verify the manual or the exact retail package rather than assuming the controls are identical.

The main out-of-box advantage is the seven-fan package: six reverse-blade 120 mm PWM ARGB fans—three at the bottom and three on the side/right—plus one conventional 120 mm PWM ARGB rear fan. A built-in fan controller is included.
The controller should not automatically be treated as a fully independent lighting system. Motherboard synchronization normally depends on the appropriate 5V ARGB connection and compatible motherboard support. Verify the manual for the included controller leads, motherboard connections and fallback control behavior before planning a build around a specific lighting ecosystem.

The standard C5 ARGB and C5 Curve ARGB share the C5 name but are separate models. The standard version uses flat panoramic glass and seven included fans; the Curve version uses curved glass and lists four included fans on Antec’s product page.

Launch history, price and availability
Regional reports place the C5 ARGB’s introduction in April 2024. A Chinese announcement dated April 15 reported a 399-yuan domestic price, while Japanese distribution coverage announced local availability on April 12. These dates describe regional launches and should not be treated as one universal worldwide release date.
As of August 18, 2026, Antec’s official store showed the black and white C5 ARGB at $110, reduced from displayed reference prices of $140 and $152 respectively. Both official product pages showed the models as sold out. That makes $110 a dated first-party price signal, not a guarantee of current US retail stock or an immediately purchasable offer. Check Antec’s black-model listing, white-model listing and authorized retailers for current availability.
Antec lists a two-year warranty.
Who should buy the Antec C5 ARGB?
The C5 ARGB is a strong fit for:
- Showcase gaming PCs where panoramic glass and RGB presentation matter.
- High-end GPU builds using a 160 mm-or-shorter air cooler or liquid cooling.
- Builders who want seven included ARGB fans rather than buying a full fan set separately.
- Systems using a compatible back-connect motherboard.
- Builders who want flexible top, side and bottom cooling positions.
- Systems with modest SATA-drive requirements.
Consider another chassis if you need:
- A very tall dual-tower air cooler.
- A long PSU with bulky or rigid modular cabling.
- Several 3.5-inch drives without sacrificing fan positions.
- Verified low-noise operation with fewer fans.
- A conventional front-to-back airflow layout.
- Guaranteed compatibility with a particular rear-connector motherboard before checking its cutouts.
Verdict
The Antec C5 ARGB’s strongest features are its seven included fans, 410 mm GPU clearance, dual-chamber presentation, back-connect motherboard support and unusually broad stated radiator compatibility. Its important constraints are the 160 mm CPU-cooler limit, 240 mm PSU clearance including cables, modest native storage capacity and the practical interference risks of installing several thick radiators.
It is best viewed as a visually focused, high-airflow-capacity case rather than a proven thermal or acoustic champion. If the exact motherboard, GPU, cooler, PSU and radiator dimensions fit—and if current stock can be found—the C5 ARGB is well suited to a clean showcase build.
