AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 350 is a real, already-launched laptop processor—not a new chip revealed by PassMark. PassMark’s results through August 1, 2026, show an average CPU Mark score of 24,932 and a single-thread rating of 3,835, based on approximately 1,774 submitted tests. Those figures offer a useful comparison point, but they are not a guarantee of how any one laptop will perform.
What PassMark’s listing shows
PassMark lists the processor as AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, with the description “w/ Radeon 860M.” Its results page reports the following snapshot from PerformanceTest v10 submissions through August 1, 2026:

PassMark’s displayed database snapshot also placed the chip around 749th among 5,960 CPUs for multithreaded performance, 323rd for single-thread performance, and 126th among laptop CPUs. It is a real processor, not a newly surfaced leak
AMD has an official product page for the Ryzen AI 7 350 and gives its launch date as February 18, 2025. PassMark says the model first appeared on its charts in Q4 2024. So in August 2026, the listing reflects an established processor with a growing pool of submitted results—not a fresh product launch. AMD’s official specifications and PassMark’s database entry serve different purposes: AMD documents the chip; PassMark aggregates benchmark submissions from systems using it.

AMD also lists up to 66 total platform TOPS. TOPS is a peak throughput specification, not a direct measure of how quickly a particular AI application will run.
What “with Radeon 860M” means
The Radeon 860M is integrated graphics in the Ryzen AI 7 350 platform, not a separate graphics card. This mobile processor combines CPU cores, an NPU and Radeon graphics. AMD lists support for DirectX 12, DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, along with hardware video support for formats including H.264, H.265, VP9 and AV1.
Crucially, PassMark’s CPU Mark is a processor score. It does not measure Radeon 860M gaming performance. That requires graphics-specific tests. As an integrated GPU, the 860M can serve everyday graphics, media playback, lighter games and esports at sensible settings, but it should not be mistaken for a dedicated gaming GPU. Performance depends on the laptop’s memory bandwidth, graphics power limits, cooling, drivers and chosen resolution.

Because integrated graphics share system memory, the memory configuration matters. Fast LPDDR5X or a suitable dual-channel DDR5 setup can help; slower or constrained memory can limit graphics performance. Some laptops solder memory in place, so check the exact RAM capacity, speed and upgrade options before buying.
How to interpret a CPU Mark score near 25,000
The score suggests a capable upper-mainstream laptop CPU for productivity, web and office workloads, multitasking, software development, moderately sized builds, photo editing, light-to-moderate video work, CPU rendering and compression. It is useful as a broad comparison signal, not a substitute for testing a specific application on a specific laptop.
PassMark’s comparison snapshot dated July 31, 2026, showed the Ryzen AI 7 350 at about 24,929 in multithreaded CPU Mark versus about 20,182 for the Ryzen 7 7735U—roughly a 24% lead in that benchmark. The comparison is useful context, but not a promise of a 24% improvement in every app or game. The 7735U is a lower-power 28 W-class part, while the Ryzen AI 7 350’s configurable range is much wider. The Ryzen AI 9 365 is a higher-tier comparison: it has more cores and Radeon 880M graphics, and PassMark places it ahead of the Ryzen AI 7 350 in multithreaded performance. AMD specifies a 28 W default TDP and a configurable range of 15–54 W. PassMark displays a 45 W “typical TDP” label, but that should not be treated as the universal power draw of every Ryzen AI 7 350 laptop. OEMs choose power limits and cooling systems, and implementations can vary substantially. A thin, efficiency-focused 15 W design and a well-cooled system configured toward 45–54 W may deliver different sustained CPU performance, heat, fan noise and battery life.
Benchmark submissions also come from different laptops, firmware settings and cooling conditions. An average across those systems is not a controlled test of one standardized machine. Nor does the score tell you battery endurance, fan noise, performance after long thermal saturation, display power consumption, or the speed of an NPU workload.

What the AI branding does—and does not—tell you
The dedicated NPU is rated for up to 50 TOPS, while AMD quotes up to 66 TOPS for the full platform. These are peak figures across the platform’s compute resources, not an application-speed guarantee. The outcome depends on the model and precision, software framework, drivers, memory, and whether software runs work on the CPU, GPU or NPU. AMD notes that OEM and software support is required and that some AI features may not be optimized. Do not infer a particular level of local generative-AI performance or compatibility from TOPS alone.
What to check before buying a Ryzen AI 7 350 laptop
- Power and cooling: Look for the laptop’s sustained performance and fan behavior in reviews, not just the processor name or a short burst score.
- Memory: Check capacity, speed, channel configuration and whether it is upgradeable. At least 16 GB is a sensible starting point; 32 GB can be preferable for development or creative work.
- Graphics needs: Radeon 860M is integrated graphics. For demanding modern games, 3D rendering, CUDA-dependent software or GPU-heavy AI work, look for a laptop with an appropriate discrete GPU.
- Battery and display: Panel size, resolution, refresh rate and technology can affect runtime; the CPU benchmark cannot predict it.
- Whole-system value: Compare price, SSD, warranty, ports, build, battery and exact regional configuration. A CPU model alone cannot establish whether a laptop is a good deal.
- Exact model identity: Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 7 PRO 350 are separate products. The PRO model targets business systems and has distinct platform, security, manageability and support characteristics; consult AMD’s PRO product page if evaluating it.
AMD lists the consumer processor as globally available, but that does not guarantee that a particular laptop configuration is sold in every country. Verify the exact regional SKU and its specifications with the manufacturer or retailer.
