Acer’s ProCreator PE320QK X is a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor that combines creator-focused color claims with a 240Hz refresh rate. It carries Calman Verified certification, supports 10-bit color, covers 99% of sRGB and DCI-P3, and includes USB-C connectivity with up to 90W power delivery. However, Acer has not announced one universal price or worldwide retail rollout, so availability depends on the region.
Important: the OLED model is identified by part number UM.JP0EE.X05. It is not the similarly named 31.5-inch 4K/60Hz IPS PE320QK listed on Acer’s U.S. store.
What launched and when?
Acer announced the ProCreator PE320QK X as part of its creator-oriented PE0 monitor range. Portrait Displays announced its Calman Verified status on January 7, 2025, describing it as the first Calman Verified monitor in Acer’s PE0 series. Acer published the broader ProCreator announcement on May 16, 2025.
The display is aimed at photographers, video editors, designers, animators and other users who want accurate, wide-gamut color without giving up the speed associated with gaming monitors. By 2026, Acer regional pages and some retailers listed the model as PE320QK X / UM.JP0EE.X05.

Acer’s regional technical page identifies the panel as a 31.5-inch Quantum Dot OLED display with 3840×2160 resolution.

The response-time figures should not be treated as interchangeable. Acer’s 0.01ms number uses the PRT label, while the published GTG figures differ between the launch announcement and regional technical page. They may reflect different measurement methods, but 0.01ms should not be rewritten as a universal GTG result.
Why 4K at 240Hz matters
At 31.5 inches, 4K provides a dense workspace for detailed images, high-resolution video and complex design interfaces. The 240Hz refresh rate adds a capability more commonly associated with gaming OLEDs. It can make high-frame-rate games smoother and may improve the feel of timeline scrubbing, animation previews and motion-heavy interface work.
That specification does not mean every computer will output 4K at 240Hz. The graphics processor, source device, operating system, cable and selected input all matter. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 and USB-C give the monitor modern connection options, but the maximum mode still depends on what the connected hardware supports.

What Calman Verified means
Calman Verified is a display-performance certification associated with Portrait Displays’ Calman calibration ecosystem. Acer and Portrait Displays connect the certification with the PE320QK X’s creator positioning and a claimed Delta E below 1.
Delta E describes the measured difference between a displayed color and a reference color. A lower value indicates a smaller difference under the relevant test conditions. That is useful evidence when comparing creator monitors, but it is not a guarantee that every color, brightness level, HDR mode or factory preset will be equally accurate.
Calman Verified also does not make the PE320QK X a reference mastering monitor by itself. Real-world results depend on the selected picture mode, brightness, ambient lighting, operating-system color management, application support and source device. A studio or production workflow with defined delivery requirements may still need an external calibration process and a custom profile.

QD-OLED and HDR: strengths and limitations
QD-OLED pixels can switch off individually, producing extremely deep blacks and very high perceived contrast. The quantum-dot layer also supports saturated wide-gamut color. Combined with fast pixel response and a 240Hz refresh rate, that makes the panel suitable for users who want one screen for creative work and gaming.

OLED has important trade-offs:
- Burn-in and image retention: static timelines, toolbars, browser elements and taskbars can increase long-term risk. Burn-in is not inevitable, but users should enable pixel-refresh or panel-care features, use automatic screen blanking and avoid displaying unchanged elements continuously.
- Brightness: Acer’s launch material lists 250 nits native brightness and 400 nits peak HDR brightness. The regional technical page reports 400 cd/m² in its specification area. These figures should not be collapsed into an unqualified claim that the monitor is simply a 400-nit display.
- HDR expectations: DisplayHDR True Black 400 recognizes OLED black levels and HDR behavior, but it is not equivalent to a high-end HDR television or a display with very high sustained full-screen brightness.
- Text rendering: QD-OLED subpixel layouts can produce different text clarity from conventional RGB-stripe IPS panels. Buyers who spend most of the day reading small text should check the monitor in person or review region-specific return terms.
- Bright-room use: deep blacks are most impressive in controlled lighting. Strong ambient light can reduce the perceived impact of OLED contrast.
Calman Verified and DisplayHDR True Black 400 describe different aspects of the display. One concerns measured color performance; the other concerns HDR behavior and black levels. Neither removes the need to choose an appropriate mode for the job.
Creator Hub and workflow features
Acer positions its Creator Hub software as a way to select target color spaces such as sRGB, DCI-P3 and, where supported, Adobe RGB; manage color profiles and calibration-related settings; adjust color temperature and brightness; and configure split-screen and multi-monitor layouts. Acer also describes support for an external color calibrator.
Creator Hub can make setup more convenient, but software control does not automatically create a fully color-managed reference workflow. Supported operating systems, firmware, profiles and available controls may vary by model and region. Color-space presets may also restrict some adjustments, so users should check the behavior of the final firmware rather than assume that every mode permits unrestricted brightness, white-point and gamma changes.

- USB-C: up to 90W power delivery can charge a compatible laptop while carrying video and, where supported, USB data. It is not a guarantee that every laptop will work as a complete one-cable dock.
- HDMI 2.1: useful for modern PCs and consoles.
- DisplayPort 2.1: provides a high-bandwidth PC connection, subject to source and cable capabilities.
- KVM: the built-in switch can help share a keyboard and mouse between two computers. Buyers should confirm how the regional implementation maps USB and video inputs before assuming it will switch everything automatically.
- USB hub and USB-B upstream: useful for peripherals in a desktop workflow.
- Speakers: the two 5W speakers are convenient for alerts and general audio, but they are not a replacement for studio monitors.
- Ergonomics: height, tilt and swivel adjustment, plus 100×100mm VESA mounting, support conventional desk-arm and workstation setups.
Availability and regional pricing
Acer’s May 2025 announcement says that specifications, prices and availability vary by region and directs buyers to local Acer offices. The available evidence therefore supports regional availability rather than a universal launch price.

Retail signals included Ukrainian listings around ₴50,899–₴55,655, depending on seller and timing, and a Taiwanese Acer Store listing surfaced at NT$29,900. These figures are country-specific and volatile; they are not a valid global MSRP or U.S. price.
No verified U.S. Acer Store listing for the OLED PE320QK X was established by the available product pages. The U.S. store does list a different IPS monitor, the PE320QK Bmiipruzx, at $799.99. That model is a 4K/60Hz IPS display and should not be used as the price of the OLED PE320QK X.

If a listing does not clearly say PE320QK X and UM.JP0EE.X05, verify the specifications before buying. The similar names make accidental substitution particularly easy.
Who should consider the PE320QK X?
It makes the most sense for
- Creators who want 4K detail, wide-gamut color and OLED contrast alongside high-refresh gaming.
- Users who value the Calman Verified and Delta E below 1 positioning but understand that it is not a universal color guarantee.
- Laptop users who can benefit from USB-C connectivity and up to 90W charging.
- Workstations that can use a KVM, USB hub and multiple modern video inputs.
Consider another display if
- You need reference-grade HDR mastering with very high sustained brightness.
- Your work involves static interfaces all day and you do not want to manage OLED-care routines.
- You prefer maximum bright-room readability or conventional IPS text rendering.
- You require a confirmed U.S. retail channel, domestic price and clearly documented OLED burn-in coverage.
- Your computer cannot drive 4K at high refresh rates.
- You primarily play games and do not need creator-oriented color controls, USB-C or KVM features.
Questions to ask before buying
- Is the product specifically the PE320QK X / UM.JP0EE.X05?
- What are the local price, stock status and return period?
- Does the regional warranty cover OLED image retention or only manufacturing defects?
- Which firmware version is installed?
- Can USB-C provide video, USB data and 90W charging simultaneously with the intended laptop?
- Does the KVM switch automatically follow the selected video input?
- Which color modes restrict brightness, white point or other controls?
- Is a factory calibration report included?
- Are 240Hz and full 10-bit output available through the input you plan to use?
- What panel-care and pixel-refresh features are included, and can their prompts be configured?
Verdict
The Acer PE320QK X is technically compelling because it combines features that are usually split between creator and gaming monitors: 4K resolution, QD-OLED contrast, wide-gamut 10-bit color, Calman Verified positioning, 240Hz motion, USB-C, KVM and modern video inputs.
Its practical value depends on more than the specification sheet. Buyers should confirm regional stock, the exact part number, warranty treatment for OLED image retention, the monitor’s real brightness behavior and the calibration controls available in the shipping firmware. For a hybrid creator-gaming setup, it is an unusually well-targeted design. For HDR mastering, bright-room work or static desktop use, a brighter conventional display or a purpose-built reference monitor may be the safer choice.
