If your priority is connecting a WooCommerce store’s customers and purchase data to Mailchimp, the dedicated Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin is the more directly focused option. Its official WordPress.org listing describes syncing customer and purchase data to an audience, including opted-in subscriber syncing.

This add-on is for sites using MC4WP and WPML. Its listing says it can direct each site language to a different Mailchimp audience and set a subscriber’s language based on the current site language. The May 5, 2026 listing for version 1.0.6 specified WordPress 4.5 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, and testing through WordPress 7.0. Verify that its behavior matches your WPML language and audience setup before relying on it.
Boxzilla for popup placement
Boxzilla is a presentation add-on, not a replacement for a Mailchimp integration. MC4WP’s FAQ recommends it when you want to show an MC4WP form in a popup; the documented approach is to put the form shortcode in the popup box.
