The best WordPress CRM plugin depends on where you want customer data to live and what you need to do with it. Choose HubSpot to connect WordPress to HubSpot’s hosted CRM and marketing tools; FluentCRM or Groundhogg for marketing automation inside WordPress; or Jetpack CRM for client records and administrative work such as quotes and invoices.
These products serve different workflows, so the feature fit matters more than treating them as a single ranked list. The comparison below is based on current vendor and WordPress.org listings, not hands-on testing or independent performance measurements.

The listing’s changelog records version 3.2.0 on September 3, 2026, with SMS and WhatsApp messaging features. That is a dated release detail, not an independent assessment of performance. Check the current listing and integration documentation for compatibility with the plugins and messaging workflows you use.
Jetpack CRM: manage clients, quotes, and invoices
Jetpack CRM’s listing focuses on client and lead records and administrative features: quotes, invoices, transactions, a client portal, lead forms, tasks, and WooCommerce syncing. It is worth considering if those client-management and billing workflows matter more than building email automation sequences.

How to choose between hosted and self-hosted CRM
- Decide where the CRM data should live. HubSpot connects WordPress with a hosted CRM account. FluentCRM, Jetpack CRM, and Groundhogg describe CRM functionality running in WordPress. This choice affects how your team accesses the system and what infrastructure you need to operate.
- Prioritize the work you actually do. For lead capture and connected marketing tools, assess HubSpot. For email lists, campaigns, and automation, compare FluentCRM and Groundhogg. For client records, quotes, invoices, transactions, or a portal, assess Jetpack CRM.
- Check the integrations you depend on. Make a short list—such as WooCommerce, forms, membership, or learning software—and confirm each required connection against current plugin documentation. A listing of integrations does not guarantee compatibility with every plugin version or configuration.
- Estimate the full operating cost. Compare any paid extensions or hosted-plan upgrades you need, along with email delivery setup and the effort of maintaining a self-hosted CRM. A comparable current total-price table is not established here, so use each vendor’s current pricing and plan details for your own feature set.
What installation counts and feature listings can tell you
WordPress.org’s CRM tag snapshot, accessed September 30, 2026, showed 200,000+ active installations for HubSpot, 80,000+ for FluentCRM, and 30,000+ for Jetpack CRM. These dynamic directory counts indicate reported adoption at that time; they are not quality scores or proof that one plugin performs better. Groundhogg’s count was not stated in that snapshot.
Likewise, listed features are useful for narrowing the options, not evidence of deliverability, speed, conversion lift, or support quality. There is no independent comparative performance statistic or outcome study established for these plugins here.
