To create a wholesale order form in WordPress, use a WooCommerce extension that displays products in a bulk-order layout, configure the options buyers need, then add the form to a page with its shortcode. If you also need wholesale registration, customer roles, role-based prices, or catalog visibility rules, choose a broader wholesale plugin rather than an order-form-only workflow.

Choose the right wholesale ordering approach

These setup paths are for WordPress stores using WooCommerce. They do not directly apply to a WordPress site without a WooCommerce product catalog and cart.

What your store needs Documented route What it provides
A dedicated bulk-order page with SKU or variation search WooCommerce Wholesale Order Form & Requisition Lists Configurable order form, requisition lists, shortcode placement, and options including SKU search, variation search, and accounting subtotals. Official setup documentation.
Order tables alongside wholesale account and catalog controls Wholesale for WooCommerce Wholesale roles and prices, registration forms, product and price visibility controls, and a customizable product table for wholesale customers. See the product documentation and product-table guide.
A form-builder-based implementation JetFormBuilder with JetProductTables and WooCommerce A vendor tutorial demonstrates this combination as an alternate implementation. The tutorial alone does not establish that it has the same features or costs as a dedicated wholesale extension. View the tutorial.

Choose based on the buyer workflow: bulk ordering from a table, saved repeat orders, product and variation search, and whether wholesale accounts need separate registration, pricing, or visibility rules. The available documentation does not provide a consistent feature benchmark, so it does not establish that one route is universally faster, cheaper, or more compatible.

Set up Wholesale Order Form & Requisition Lists

Install and activate the extension

  1. Download the extension from your WooCommerce account.
  2. In WordPress Admin, go to Plugins → Add New, upload the downloaded plugin, then install and activate it.
  3. Open Wholesale Order → Settings to configure the extension.

Choose form and search options

In settings, enable the order form, requisition lists, or both. Enable SKU search, search for individual variations, and accounting subtotals if those options fit your products and buyers’ ordering habits. The extension documents these as configurable options; their usefulness depends on the store’s catalog and workflow.

Add the form to a page

Add the shortcode [wofrl_bulkorder] to the WordPress page where customers should place bulk orders. The extension also makes order forms and requisition lists available in the customer’s My Account area. Customers can save a requisition list from the cart, which can support repeat ordering.

Create a product table with Wholesale for WooCommerce

If you want a product table as part of a broader wholesale setup, create a table in the Wholesale section of the WordPress dashboard. Configure its title and columns, publish it, and copy the generated shortcode. Add that shortcode to the page where the table should appear. The table is intended to let wholesale customers search, filter, and purchase products; the extension’s broader wholesale features include roles, pricing, registration, and product or price visibility settings.

Review the ordering flow before launch

Once the form or table is on the page, review it using an appropriate wholesale customer account. Check that the account sees the intended products and prices, can select the relevant variations and quantities, and can complete the expected cart flow. Also check any repeat-order steps, such as finding a requisition list in My Account or saving one from the cart. This review helps catch configuration or access issues before customers rely on the page.

When to consider a form-builder route

JetFormBuilder’s tutorial shows an approach using JetFormBuilder, JetProductTables, and WooCommerce. Consider it if that combination fits the site’s existing setup, but evaluate its requirements and feature coverage separately: the tutorial demonstrates an implementation, not equivalence to a dedicated wholesale extension.
