You can produce a complete song with AI on a phone by drafting a clear brief, generating a version in Suno, and refining it with the editing or stem tools available there. If you want more control over the beat, build one in browser-based Beat Shaper and export it for a compatible desktop DAW. For a phone-first song with vocals, start in Suno. For an instrumental you want to shape as separate musical parts, Beat Shaper offers editable elements and DAW export options, but it runs in a browser and some exports require paid plans. Fadr and Moises are useful when you already have audio to split; they are not presented here as song generators.
Write A Brief Before You Generate
Decide what the song needs to do before entering a prompt. Keep the first brief short enough to revise easily:
- Subject: What is the song about?
- Sound: Describe the mood, energy, and instruments you want. Do not assume a tool supports a particular genre or language; check its current prompt guidance and capabilities.
- Structure: Name the sections you want, such as verse, chorus, and bridge.
- Voice: Say whether you want vocals or an instrumental. For vocals based on a real person, get their consent and check the platform’s terms.
Example brief: “Write an uplifting song about finishing a difficult week. Use a steady, energetic beat, warm synths, and a memorable chorus. Structure it as verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, final chorus.” This describes a direction without relying on a claim that a specific genre, language, or instrument setting is guaranteed.

Generate And Refine The Song
- Open Suno and enter the brief. Generate a draft, then listen for the parts that match your goal: the vocal delivery, chorus, arrangement, and overall energy. Suno supports song generation with vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation.
- Change one thing at a time. If the chorus is too subdued, revise the energy or chorus direction in the prompt. If the structure is wrong, make the section order explicit. Suno lists editing, remixing, extensions, and section replacement among its features; availability can depend on the plan.
- Keep the best version and inspect the whole track. Listen from beginning to end on your phone. Check that the words are understandable, sections flow, and the ending feels intentional. If a specific control or export is not listed for your plan, check Suno’s site rather than assuming it is included.
- Use Beat Shaper for a beat you want to edit. Set the musical direction with its genre, mood, energy, and syncopation controls, then adjust the generated parts in its piano roll. Export options include MIDI, WAV, MP3, stems, and DAW projects, but the plan determines which are available. Starter downloads are MP3-only and non-commercial; Ableton Live project export and real-time MIDI require Producer.
- Split existing audio only when you need separate parts. Upload a track to Fadr or Moises if you want to work with separated vocals, drums, bass, or other parts. Check file length, upload limits, and separation options against your plan before starting; Fadr Plus is needed for its listed 18 stem types and WAV downloads.
Check Rights Before Sharing Or Releasing
Do not assume that a generated song, voice, cover, or uploaded sample is cleared for every use. Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights. Beat Shaper Starter downloads are non-commercial, while its Creator plan lists commercial usage rights. For any voice resembling a real person, cover, or sample, get the necessary consent and read the relevant platform’s current terms.
