Leicester City’s 2023/24 campaign was played in the Sky Bet Championship after relegation from the Premier League. In the UK, Sky Sports held the main live EFL rights, and several Leicester fixtures were selected for live coverage or moved to new kick-off times. The verified list below covers Leicester’s men’s competitive matches confirmed as live in the UK by Leicester City, the EFL or the broadcaster.

Leicester’s initial 2023/24 fixture release warned that dates and kick-off times could change after broadcasters made their selections. The clearest TV-related changes in the verified record were:

A changed kick-off is not, by itself, proof of a television selection. Cup congestion, policing and other operational reasons can also cause rearrangements, so each fixture needs a contemporaneous broadcast announcement.
Championship, FA Cup and Carabao Cup coverage
The table above is a Championship list. Sky Sports’ 2023/24 EFL package also covered selected Carabao Cup and play-off matches, but Leicester should only be added when an official source confirms that their particular match was live.
FA Cup rights were separate from the EFL package. Chelsea v Leicester City on 17 March 2024 is often listed in secondary fixture records as a live BBC match, but the source set available for this article does not include the original BBC announcement. It is therefore not included as a verified entry here.

How to interpret “on TV”
- UK live TV: a match officially selected for domestic live broadcast, principally by Sky Sports in the Championship.
- TV-moved fixture: a game whose date or kick-off was changed following a broadcast selection.
- Streaming: a digital stream or club service is not automatically a television broadcast and should be labelled separately.
- Highlights: BBC, ITV or online highlights do not mean the full match was shown live.
- International rights: overseas broadcasters may show a match that was not live on UK television. UK Saturday 3 p.m. restrictions do not apply worldwide.
Watching information
For the 2023/24 season, the relevant UK live-rights service was Sky Sports. The exact Sky channel or digital service could vary by fixture; contemporary listings should be used rather than applying later branding such as Sky Sports+ retrospectively. Sky’s current viewing information is at Sky Sports Watch, while flexible access is advertised by NOW Sports. Current packages, prices and replay availability do not prove what was offered during 2023/24.

Viewers outside the UK need to check the rights-holder and fixture listing for their own country. A UK Sky Sports selection does not automatically mean the game was carried by ESPN or another overseas service.

Why were Leicester fixtures moved?
