EVA AI usually means EVA AI Soulmate, a consumer app from Novi Limited that lets you chat with customizable virtual characters and build a simulated, ongoing relationship through text and other interactive features. It is an AI companion—not a human partner, therapist, medical service, or general-purpose factual assistant.
The name is also used by two unrelated products: EVA.ai, an enterprise recruiting platform, and EVAonline.ai, a multi-model AI workspace.
What EVA AI is—and is not
EVA AI is designed around companionship, self-expression, roleplay and relationship-style interaction. You can select or customize a character, chat with it, and encounter product mechanics such as memories, moods, levels, experience points and virtual gifts. The app may present itself as a girlfriend, friend or virtual partner, but every response is generated by software.

It is not a dating service connecting you to people, and Google Play says it is not medical, psychological or mental-health advice. Do not use it for diagnosis, crisis instructions or professional treatment.

How EVA AI works
- Choose an existing character or create and configure one.
- Chat through the app or web experience. The system generates replies according to the character settings and the conversation.
- Interaction signals, user-provided details and progression systems can make later exchanges feel more continuous.
- Some interactions, virtual gifts or premium functions may require a subscription or Neurons, the app’s virtual currency.
Public product pages do not establish which large language model, provider, training data, memory architecture or retention period the service uses. Marketing language about remembering personal moments should therefore be read as a product experience, not a guarantee of complete or human-like memory. Stored profile information, conversation context and personalization signals may all contribute, and behavior can be incomplete or wrong.

Android and iPhone apps are listed, and the official site offers a web experience, but availability, features and purchases can vary by country, account, operating-system version and store.
Is EVA AI free?
You can download the app free, but it uses subscriptions and in-app purchases. In the US Apple listing viewed on August 18, 2026, displayed examples included EVA Premium at $13.99, 500 Neurons for $9.99, 2,000 Neurons for $29.99, and several monthly membership offers of roughly $11.99 to $24.99, plus three-month and annual options.

Those figures are storefront examples, not a universal tariff. Multiple overlapping offers may reflect billing period, region, promotion, account, legacy products or app version. Check the checkout screen for the exact plan, renewal interval, taxes and cancellation route. Deleting the app normally does not cancel an app-store subscription.
The terms describe Neuron-priced virtual gifts separately from subscriptions; the price varies by gift. Do not assume Premium includes every gift or paid interaction.

Age ratings and mature content
The US Apple listing is rated 18+ and includes mature or suggestive themes, messaging, user-generated content and sexual-content descriptors. Google Play shows Mature 17+. Ratings differ by platform and country, so check your own store listing. A store rating is not proof that every conversation is suitable for every adult, and it should not be treated as evidence that the service is appropriate for minors.
Privacy: what data may be involved?
Developer disclosures on Apple and Google indicate that EVA may handle or link user content, photos or videos, name and email address, device or user identifiers, usage and interaction data, purchase history, coarse location and diagnostics. Google Play says the app may collect personal and financial information, may share some data with third parties, encrypts data in transit and lets users request deletion. Apple says some identifiers and usage data may be used for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

These are developer-provided store disclosures, not an independent privacy audit. Read the current privacy policy before creating a long relationship history. Treat chats as information sent to a service, not as an anonymous journal.
- Never share passwords, payment credentials, government-identification numbers or confidential work information.
- Be cautious with intimate images, precise location and another person’s private information.
- Ask what is used for personalization, analytics, advertising or model improvement.
- Use available deletion controls, but do not assume deletion instantly removes backups, legal records or third-party copies.
- Check what happens to your character and conversation history after cancellation.
Benefits and drawbacks
Possible benefits
- Immediate, low-pressure conversation and roleplay.
- Customizable personalities and interaction styles.
- A routine for entertainment or self-expression.
- Exploration of fictional scenarios without coordinating with another person.
Important drawbacks
- The relationship is simulated, and replies can be inconsistent or emotionally inappropriate.
- Memory may be incomplete, inaccurate or dependent on settings and account state.
- Mature content and user-generated material raise boundary and age concerns.
- Subscriptions plus Neurons can make total spending difficult to predict.
- Service changes, moderation, account restrictions or shutdown could affect a long-running history.
- Relationship-style prompts can encourage overuse, attachment or spending that is difficult to evaluate calmly.
Who should—and should not—choose EVA AI?
It may suit someone seeking a character-centered mobile companion, romantic or playful roleplay, avatar customization and progression mechanics.
It is a poor fit if you need a private journal, clinically safe mental-health support, verified research, a predictable all-inclusive price or guaranteed long-term access to your history.

Alternatives by use case
- Replika offers free basic messaging with paid upgrades such as voice calls and advanced customization.
- Character.AI is better for exploring many community-created characters and roleplay scenarios.
- Kindroid and Nomi are alternatives for users prioritizing persona configuration and ongoing continuity; verify current features and prices on their official sites.
- A general-purpose AI assistant is more appropriate for factual tasks, but it will not provide the same relationship mechanics.
If an answer feels unsafe or disturbing
- Stop escalating the conversation and do not follow a bot’s diagnosis or emergency instruction.
- Save the text or screenshots if you need to report it.
- Use the app’s support or reporting route; the Google Play listing gives [email protected].
- For immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis service, not the app.
- If use is causing distress or feels compulsive, pause the account and speak with someone you trust or a qualified professional.
