DaddyLive is not conclusively shut down as one single, global service. The name has been used for multiple domains, mirrors, embedded players, Kodi add-ons, repositories, and stream sources. One URL or add-on can disappear while another related domain still responds. In other cases, the homepage loads but the channel feed, video host, or add-on backend is broken.
The safest conclusion is that DaddyLive is unreliable and exposed to domain changes, blocking, takedowns, broken sources, and abandoned software. Troubleshoot only a previously trusted URL when the problem looks local. Do not chase mirror domains or install software simply because a page claims it is required.
Is DaddyLive permanently shut down?
There is no reliable evidence that “DaddyLive” describes one centrally maintained service that has either completely shut down or remains consistently operational. Your exact domain, Kodi add-on, repository, API endpoint, or stream source matters.

That only means the domain responded to an HTTP request; it does not prove that its video player works, that channels are available, or that the site is safe or authorized. Separate historical checks reported other DaddyLive-branded domains, including daddylivehd.com, daddylive.watch, and daddylive.to, as down at different times.

There is also current enforcement pressure against unauthorized streaming sites. On July 20, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the seizure of more than 1,000 domains used to illegally stream 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. That announcement does not prove that every DaddyLive domain was seized, but it shows why unofficial sports-streaming domains can suddenly vanish.
Separately, a March 27, 2026 Delhi High Court order listed daddylives.nl, daddylive.top, daddylive.cv, and daddylive.online among rogue websites in a blocking matter. This is jurisdiction-specific legal action, not proof of a worldwide DaddyLive shutdown. (Order PDF.)
First identify what is broken
“DaddyLive is down” can mean several different failures:

- The domain: The URL may be expired, blocked, redirected, or offline.
- The homepage: DNS errors, timeouts, or connection refusals point toward a domain, hosting, DNS, or network problem.
- The embedded player: A working page with a blank player often indicates a script, ad-blocker, embed-host, CDN, or stream-source failure.
- One channel: A single dead channel or event usually means that feed is unavailable, not that the whole service has shut down.
- The Kodi add-on: The add-on may rely on an obsolete domain, repository, API, or certificate even if a website with a similar name opens.
Record the exact URL, add-on name, error message, and whether the failure affects one channel or every channel. A mirror directory such as daddylive.pk demonstrates domain fragmentation, but its “official” or “mirror” claims do not independently verify ownership, safety, legality, or availability.
Safe troubleshooting steps
- Reload once and check the exact address. Look for misspellings, unexpected redirects, and a different domain than the one you previously used.
- Try a private browser window. This can identify stale cookies or an extension conflict without changing your normal browser profile.
- Clear site data for that domain. Remove its cookies and cached files, then reopen the browser.
- Try another current browser and a second device. Do not install an extension or “special player” if prompted.
- Check your connection. Open several unrelated websites. If many fail, restart the router and troubleshoot the internet connection first.
- Test another legitimate network, such as mobile data, only for diagnosis. If the site works on one network but not another, DNS or ISP filtering is more plausible. It does not make the site authorized or safe.
- Check the device clock. An incorrect date or time can cause certificate and secure-connection errors.
- Flush the local DNS cache or try a reputable DNS resolver. Use normal operating-system or router settings; never install an unknown DNS app or certificate. Changing DNS cannot repair a dead domain, removed stream, invalid certificate, or takedown.
Do not disable antivirus, SmartScreen, browser protections, firewall rules, or operating-system security. If a workplace, school, parent, network administrator, or legal authority blocks the domain, do not try to evade that restriction.
If the website loads but the stream does not
Try one other channel or event, and confirm that the event has actually started. If only one feed fails, the source may be dead or temporarily unavailable. If the page loads but every player remains blank, the embedded host, CDN, script, or backend may be failing.

Reloading once and testing a private window is reasonable. Repeatedly clicking pop-ups is not. Close any page that opens fake virus alerts, phone numbers, download prompts, notification requests, payment forms, or login screens. A functioning homepage or HTTPS padlock is not evidence that the content source is legitimate or that the site is safe.

Treat Kodi as a separate troubleshooting path. Kodi itself is general-purpose software; the legal and security questions depend on the add-on, repository, content source, and how they are used.
- Update Kodi only through official Kodi channels.
- Check whether the add-on is still actively maintained and whether its repository remains available and trustworthy.
- Back up Kodi settings before removing an add-on or repository.
- Remove obsolete or abandoned repositories instead of adding random replacements.
- Do not install an anonymous ZIP file just because a forum post recommends it.
- If the error mentions an API, domain, Cloudflare, SSL, or “check log,” reinstalling Kodi repeatedly is unlikely to fix a dead backend.
Community discussions have described domain changes, Cloudflare behavior, SSL errors, repository outages, and add-on maintenance problems. These are anecdotal user reports rather than authoritative technical documentation, so they should be treated as possible explanations, not confirmed root causes. (Example discussion.)

When to stop troubleshooting
Abandon the site rather than keep searching when:
- Several supposed replacement domains lead to aggressive pop-ups or unrelated pages.
- The site requires an unknown extension, APK, executable, codec, certificate, or “player.”
- It requests a card number, email password, social-media login, or paid access.
- The domain changes repeatedly and cannot be independently verified.
- You see fake virus warnings, unsolicited downloads, or browser notification abuse.
- The Kodi repository is abandoned, unsigned, or behaving suspiciously.
- The game or channel is available from a licensed broadcaster at a reasonable cost.
A VPN may change your apparent network location and help diagnose an ISP-level difference, but it cannot fix an expired domain, dead embed host, removed stream, broken API, invalid TLS certificate, or seized domain. It also does not establish copyright authorization or override workplace, school, provider, or local-law restrictions.

- Close the tab and do not call phone numbers shown in pop-ups.
- Revoke notification permission for the site in your browser settings.
- Remove any extension, app, APK, or executable installed because of the site.
- Run a full security scan and review downloads, browser extensions, startup programs, and recently installed applications.
- Change any exposed passwords. If malware is suspected, change them from a clean device and do not reuse them elsewhere.
- Contact your card issuer immediately if payment details were submitted.
- Monitor email, banking, and other important accounts for suspicious activity.
- Keep the domain name, screenshots, emails, and transaction records if you need to report fraud.
Legal alternatives to DaddyLive
The practical replacement depends on the exact channel, league, event, market, blackout rule, device, and subscription tier. Match the need to a licensed distributor rather than searching for another mirror.

Other legitimate options may include a network’s own free stream, local broadcaster websites, public broadcasting, ad-supported services, official league apps, or a team and league pass for out-of-market games. Always check blackouts and regional rights. No single legal service necessarily carries every channel that an unofficial aggregator lists.
Final verdict
A single DaddyLive URL or Kodi add-on may be down without proving that every related domain has permanently disappeared. But the broader ecosystem is too unstable and difficult to authenticate to treat mirror lists as dependable. Try only safe, reversible browser and network checks; stop immediately at download, notification, payment, or credential prompts; and use the licensed broadcaster or league service for games and channels you need reliably.
