The Lian Li Vector V100 MINI brings the full-size V100’s glass showcase style to a smaller Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX chassis. It supports GPUs up to 415 mm and top-mounted 360 mm radiators, but drops ATX motherboard support and has tighter limits for CPU coolers, expansion cards and storage. Lian Li lists two black versions: a fanless V100 MINI and a V100R MINI with four pre-installed ARGB PWM fans.
What are the V100 MINI and V100R MINI?
Lian Li lists two versions of the case on its official Vector V100 MINI product page. The V100 MINI is model V100MIX and includes no fans. The V100R MINI is model V100RMIX and comes with four 120 mm ARGB PWM fans: three side intakes and one rear exhaust. Both are listed in black.
The “R” identifies the fan-equipped version; it does not indicate a larger chassis or broader motherboard compatibility. Choose the fanless model if you already have a specific cooling plan or want to select every fan yourself. The R version is the more ready-to-build option if its included fan arrangement suits your system.

Specifications are from Lian Li’s V100 MINI page. The listed fan total is a maximum configuration, not a guarantee that every position remains usable with every graphics card.

What changes compared with the full-size Vector V100?
The MINI trims the V100’s exterior dimensions and motherboard range, while retaining the glass showcase presentation and support for large components. Here are the official dimensions and key limits for each model; the approximate volumes are editorial calculations from the external dimensions, not manufacturer-rated internal volumes.

The MINI is 10 mm shorter, 14 mm narrower and 40.75 mm lower than the V100. Its external-box volume is approximately 16% lower, calculated by multiplying the published dimensions for each case. This is a rough comparison: outside measurements include glass, panels, feet and structural space, not just room available for components. Full-size V100 figures are from Lian Li’s Vector V100 specifications.

The main compromise is not GPU length: the MINI retains a 415 mm limit, only 5 mm below the full-size case. Instead, the MINI excludes ATX and E-ATX boards, has two fewer expansion slots, and allows a shorter CPU cooler and PSU. Builders moving from a full-size V100 should recheck those parts rather than assuming they carry over.
Check motherboard and graphics-card fit
Motherboard: Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX only
The V100 MINI supports conventional Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards, plus back-connect Micro-ATX. It is not an ATX case. Back-connect support is also not universal: the board must be Micro-ATX and its rear-side connectors must align with the case openings. Before buying a back-connect board, check the case manual and the motherboard’s physical layout. A conventional Micro-ATX board is the straightforward choice when you do not specifically need rear-facing connectors.

GPU: 415 mm is a length limit, not a full fit guarantee
Lian Li lists a maximum graphics-card length of 415 mm and includes a GPU support bracket. Length alone does not settle compatibility. Check the card’s thickness, where its power connector exits, clearance to the glass, radiator placement and whether the card crowds the bottom fan positions.
Lian Li specifically notes that a four-slot GPU installed in the second PCIe slot obstructs bottom-fan installation. A large card may therefore call for a side-and-rear airflow plan rather than the maximum advertised fan arrangement. Do not assume the VG4v4 vertical GPU kit fits the MINI: Lian Li’s VG4v4 compatibility page names the full-size Vector V100, not the V100 MINI.

Plan cooling around the whole build
Fans and radiator
The case has positions for up to nine fans: three 120 mm or two 140 mm at the top, three 120 mm at the side, two 120 mm at the bottom and one 120 mm at the rear. The V100R MINI’s four included fans occupy the side and rear positions, with three intakes and one exhaust. A four-slot GPU in the second PCIe slot can block the bottom positions, so the practical fan count depends on the card.
Lian Li lists top support for 360 mm and 240 mm radiators. That nominal size does not establish that every radiator, fan and motherboard combination will clear one another. Check the manual for radiator-plus-fan thickness and confirm clearance for memory, motherboard heatsinks, CPU power cables and top-edge connectors, especially with a thick radiator assembly.

Air cooler height
The maximum CPU-cooler height is 163.5 mm, compared with 178 mm in the full-size V100. Compare that limit with the cooler’s complete installed height, including fan clips and top covers. Also check RAM clearance, fan position, glass-panel clearance and any overlap with the side-fan area. A top radiator can further constrain the layout.
PSU length affects storage
An ATX power supply up to 200 mm long is listed as compatible, but maximum length and storage flexibility are not the same thing. With a PSU no longer than 150 mm, the bottom area can hold up to two 2.5-inch SSDs, or one 3.5-inch HDD plus one 2.5-inch SSD. If the PSU is longer than 150 mm, the bottom area supports only one 2.5-inch SSD or one 3.5-inch HDD. One additional 2.5-inch SSD can be mounted behind the motherboard tray.
That makes the V100 MINI easiest to plan around if your system relies mainly on M.2 storage. It can accommodate conventional drives, but count them before selecting a long PSU: a power supply can meet the case’s 200 mm limit and still reduce the drive options you need.

The MINI uses two 4 mm tempered-glass panels for approximately 270-degree showcase visibility, with an integrated ARGB strip containing 26 LEDs. Its side-mounted I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, an audio connection, reset and power buttons. Lian Li also lists a bottom dust filter, cable-management channels and multiple fastening points. Those are design features, not a guarantee that every build will be easy to cable; the route and available space depend on the parts installed.
Which Vector case fits your build?
Choose the V100 MINI or V100R MINI if
- You are building around a Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboard and want glass showcase styling.
- You need room for a long GPU or want the option of a top 240 mm or 360 mm radiator.
- You are comfortable checking component clearances and planning fan positions around the GPU.
- You prefer the V100R MINI’s four included fans, or want the fanless V100 MINI to choose your own.
Choose the full-size Vector V100 if
- You need an ATX or E-ATX motherboard.
- You need seven expansion slots, a CPU cooler taller than 163.5 mm, or more room for a longer PSU.
- You want the additional headroom of its 420 mm GPU limit and 178 mm cooler limit.
Look closely at another layout if
- Your GPU uses four slots and bottom fans are essential to your airflow plan.
- You need multiple drives alongside a PSU longer than 150 mm.
- You want to install a particular back-connect board or thick radiator assembly without first confirming the physical clearances.
Price and availability
Lian Li’s official product page confirms the models and specifications but does not establish a current price, regional stock status or official launch date. A secondary listing associates V100 MINI coverage with December 19, 2025, but that is not confirmation of an official launch date. Check regional listings for the exact model number—V100MIX or V100RMIX—before buying, since only the R model includes fans.
