The Jonsbo X400 White is an ATX mid-tower case built around a wide dual-chamber layout, two tempered-glass panels, a skeleton-inspired exterior and support for graphics cards up to 427 mm long. It also provides mounting positions for up to 13 optional fans, plus top and side support for 360 mm radiators. Availability and pricing vary by region, and Jonsbo has not established a confirmed global launch date or universal MSRP in the available listings.
A mecha-inspired ATX showcase case
Jonsbo describes the X400 as an evolution of the BO400’s skeleton-frame design language. The White version combines a light-colored case body with darker metallic-gray exterior accents, angular layers and a more aggressive, mecha-inspired silhouette than a conventional rectangular tower.
Two tempered-glass viewing panels expose the main hardware from multiple angles. Inside, the dual-chamber construction separates the component area from the power-supply and cable-routing space, helping keep the visible side cleaner in a showcase build.

Dimension listings can be reordered by retailers, so the three measurements should not be copied without their axis labels. The case is categorized as a mid-tower, but its 310.3 mm width makes it considerably broader than many traditional ATX towers.
Cooling support and the airflow guide
The X400 has mounting locations for three 120 mm fans or two 140 mm fans at the top, three 120 mm fans on the side, additional rear positions listed for two 120 mm fans each, and three 120 mm positions at the bottom. Jonsbo markets this as support for up to 13 fans. Those are mounting positions, not included fans; the official specification marks them as optional.
For liquid cooling, the top accepts 240 mm, 280 mm or 360 mm radiators, while the side accepts a 360 mm radiator. However, the available specification does not state radiator-thickness limits, memory-clearance limits or a complete fan-and-radiator coexistence matrix. A 360 mm radiator should therefore be checked against the specific motherboard, memory kit, pump housing and fan thickness before purchase.

Jonsbo also describes an air guide intended to direct airflow toward the motherboard MOSFET area and other heat-generating components. That establishes the design’s intended purpose, not a measured thermal advantage. No independent temperature or acoustic results were identified in the supplied evidence, so the X400 should not be called cooler or quieter than competing cases without controlled testing.
Hardware compatibility: the important checks
Graphics cards
The stated 427 mm GPU limit is generous for a modern gaming build. It does not automatically account for a front or side radiator, unusually thick GPU designs or the space required by high-power GPU connectors. Compare the card’s full length with the case layout and leave room for the connector’s bend radius so the cable is not sharply stressed against the glass panel.
Power supplies
The 180 mm PSU limit may be the most restrictive headline specification. A long modular power supply can fit within the nominal limit yet leave too little room for cable connectors and bends in the rear chamber. Check the PSU manufacturer’s physical dimensions and cable-exit arrangement, not only its wattage.

CPU coolers
Air coolers up to 176 mm tall are listed as supported. Measure the complete cooler height, including any top cap, and check for side-panel interference.

Back-connect motherboard support can produce a cleaner-looking visible-side build by moving connectors behind the motherboard tray. It should not be interpreted as universal support for every rear-connector standard. Verify the exact board’s mounting-hole pattern and cable-routing requirements against the case manual or compatibility list.
Storage and expansion are adequate, not workstation-focused
Jonsbo lists one 2.5-inch SSD position and up to two 3.5-inch hard-drive positions. That is enough for many gaming systems, but modest for a storage-heavy workstation, media server or home server. Buyers needing numerous SATA drives, hot-swap bays or extensive PCIe expansion may be better served by a more conventional workstation-oriented chassis.

Availability and price
Regional listings show that the X400 White is commercially available in at least some markets, but stock is inconsistent. When checked on August 16, 2026, Computer Orbit listed it in stock at $226 including VAT, reduced from $234. The listing also showed a two-year warranty. Check the retailer listing for current stock and shipping conditions.
PcComponentes showed a historical or region-specific price of approximately €215.67 in search results, but the opened product page marked the case unavailable and gave no exact restock date. Jonsbo Vietnam displayed “contact for price” and a 24-month warranty signal. These listings do not establish a universal MSRP, confirmed U.S. availability or a worldwide launch schedule.
Buyers should also distinguish the X400 from the separately listed X400 PRO White. The Pro is a separate model and should not be assumed to share the regular X400’s dimensions, clearances or cooling arrangement.

What is not confirmed in the box
The inspected sources confirm the chassis specifications and mounting support, but not a complete authoritative in-box inventory. Do not assume the X400 includes fans, an RGB controller, a vertical GPU bracket, a riser cable or special radiator hardware unless the retailer or manual explicitly lists them.
PcComponentes mentions integrated cable management and dust filters, but filter locations and removability were not detailed in Jonsbo’s primary specification. Those points are worth confirming before purchase. The cost of several optional fans—and possibly a 360 mm AIO—can materially change the total build price.
Who should buy the Jonsbo X400 White?
The X400 is a strong match for builders who want a distinctive white showcase system, dual-glass presentation, broad GPU and CPU-cooler support, or a back-connect motherboard layout. It is particularly suited to RGB-focused gaming PCs where appearance and cable presentation matter as much as compact dimensions.
It is a weaker fit for compact desks, storage-heavy workstations, quiet-build shoppers seeking independently tested acoustics, or anyone using a PSU longer than 180 mm. The case is also wide and heavy before components are installed, while tempered glass adds both visual appeal and breakage risk. A completed system should be moved carefully, preferably with two people, and heavy graphics cards should be removed or secured during transport.
Verdict
The Jonsbo X400 White offers a strong visual identity without sacrificing the headline clearances expected by high-end gaming builds: 427 mm for the GPU, 176 mm for the CPU cooler and support for up to 360 mm radiators. Its dual-chamber layout, two glass panels and back-connect support make it attractive as a presentation-focused case.
The trade-offs are equally clear. It is broad and heavy for a mid-tower, its 180 mm PSU limit deserves careful checking, storage capacity is limited, and the advertised 13-fan capacity can raise the finished cost because the fans are optional. Jonsbo’s air-guide claims should be treated as design intent rather than proven thermal performance. The X400 makes sense when its styling and layout fit the build—but only after checking the PSU, GPU connector clearance, radiator thickness, motherboard compatibility and local availability.
